Dr. Jenna Smith’s practice is driven by her avid interest in holistic health. She believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine provides the tools and perspectives needed for you as a patient, to engage with every aspect of your life (mind, body and soul), and as a result, to help you achieve optimal health and well-being. Her goal is to build relationships within her community that are patient-driven, collaborative and empowering.
Dr. Smith graduated from Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary in 2015. Her areas of experience include, but are not limited to, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue, depression and emotional disturbances, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, digestive disorders and migraines. In practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Smith’s practice encompasses multiple modalities including acupuncture, cupping, reiki, and the use of moxibustion to help zero in on the cause of symptom patterns and works to achieve an overall balance within the body.
She creates gentle treatment plans that are also specific to your individual circumstance: young, elderly, pregnant or if you have any special requirements. It is important for Jenna to provide safe, creative and sustainable self-care options for you.
Maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle is very important to Dr. Smith. When she is not doing research for her patients she is exploring her interest in nutrition, and stays as active as possible. She currently plays soccer and volleyball, enjoys many hikes in the mountains and practices yoga.
