    Dr. Hunsberger is clinic director of Broadway at Burrard Chiropractic in Vancouver. He has two Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science and Human Biology and is a Doctor of Chiropractic focusing primarily on soft tissue injuries and joint dysfunction.

    Dr. Jerry Wright is clinic director of Broadway at Burrard Chiropractic in Vancouver. He has been practicing a variety of chiropractic techniques in Vancouver for over 30 years incorporating laser therapy and athletic therapy with a particular interest in whiplash injuries.

    Dr. Phillip Upton DC

    Dr. Phillip Upton graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. His passion for health care propelled a career in chiropractic where he graduated cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. As a second generation chiropractor, Dr. Upton has experienced first hand the many benefits of a lifetime of chiropractic care. His approach to chiropractic is rooted in scientific evidence, utilizing diversified techniques to deliver the most appropriate hands-on patient centred care.

    Dr. Upton previously worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in Vancouver for over a decade. His love for fitness in Vancouver opened doors to working with local brands, such as Lululemon, as a community ambassador. Additionally, he is a sports enthusiast, who has had the pleasure of working with Canadian Olympians and the BC Lions.

    In his spare time, Dr. Upton enjoys playing golf, skiing, scuba diving, and exploring British Columbia with friends and family.

    • Hiroko Hasegawa Registered Massage Therapist

      Hiroko graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (formerly Utopia Academy) in 2011. She enjoys educating and sharing her knowledge with patients to empower them to live healthier, more active lives.

      • Marie Itterman Registered Massage Therapist

        Educated in Nursing, Nutrition, Yoga RYT200, Yin yoga, Marie takes techniques learned and applies them in her own way to treatments.

        • Taylor Johnson Registered Massage Therapist

          Taylor graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2017 and is currently studying acupuncture. Taylor treats overuse, sports, and accident-related injuries as well as assisting in chronic pain and stress management.

          • Jake Pedersen

            Jake graduated from Langara College in 2023. Since visiting the city he fell in love with it after his formative years in the Fraser Valley. He has a background as a competitive swimmer.

            His approach to massages fuses together Swedish and deep tissue techniques, complemented by stretching, joint mobilization,
            hydrotherapy, as well as trigger point and myofascial release.

            Throughout his academic journey, Jake gained valuable experience working with a diverse range of conditions spanning from pre/post natal, orthopaedic, systemic, neurological and much more. Outside his practice, he immerses himself in travel, fitness, photography, and quality time with friends and family.
