Dr. Andrea WatsonDoctor of Chiropractic (DC)

    Dr. Andrea Watson is dedicated to providing an evidence-based approach to care with an emphasis on the individual, education, and awareness. She has a special interest in pre- and post-natal pregnancy care, as well as pediatrics, and welcomes patients of all ages and conditions. Dr. Watson is passionate about helping people continue to do the activities they love and believes proper movement is key to living a healthy functional lifestyle. She combines her expertise in manual based chiropractic manipulations/mobilizations and soft-tissue therapy with home exercise rehabilitation programs to ensure that every aspect of client care is being addressed.

    Dr. Watson obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic (Cum Laude) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. Prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Watson completed a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University. During her studies, Dr. Watson worked as the team therapist for the Western University women’s varsity field hockey team, providing emergency care, along with pre- and post-injury rehabilitation, helping athletes to optimize their performance both on and off the field.

    Dr. Andrea Watson integrates chiropractic adjustments/mobilizations with various soft-tissue therapies (trigger point, manual release technique, instrument-assisted) and strength and conditioning exercises to treat musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities.

    In addition to her chiropractic training, Dr. Watson has attained specialized certification in a number of complementary treatment modalities, including Kinesio-taping for sports-related conditions and pregnancy, Webster technique, SMART Tools instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization, and shockwave therapy.

    Outside of the clinic, Andrea enjoys unwinding and working up a sweat running and practicing yoga. She can often be found reading on the beautiful beaches in Vancouver, hiking in the mountains, and exploring the many great restaurants and local breweries in the city.
